Pam was born and raised in Plainwell, Michigan. She's been married for 43 years and has 5 children. She's currently Mrs. Michigan United States 2023. In 2000 Pam started the first women's' professional football team, in Michigan, with NWFA (National Women's Football Association.)
While in her position as women's football team owner, she saw the need for a shoulder pad designed for women. She then invented the first women's football shoulder pad. In 2005 Pam left the NWFA to accept a position as a project manager, to oversee the female shoulder pad line now known as Zena, with Douglas Sports & Pads.
As Mrs. Michigan United States 2023 Pamela McQueer will be volunteering and working with Fred and Angela at Tracy's Place of Hope.
Pam is the founder of Logan Consultants, a marketing and product development company, operating since 2005. Her company is best known for the development of a special underlying patented technology that makes the first female football shoulder pad unique in its type of protection specializing in blunt force trauma. In 2012 Pam received the Horizon Industry Award, for Innovation in women's ballistic breast protection, from Women in Defense
Crayons4Kids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to try to bring children some happiness while going through a tough time in the hospital. It was founded in 2001 when my children, Matt and Emily, when they were just five and six years old, respectively. What started out as a collection box for crayons and coloring books on our front porch has grown into a national nonprofit organization. We bring children large packages filled with toys, and supply hospitals with DVD players, DVD libraries, video games, and iPads in order to improve the patient experience.
The purpose of this letter is to provide some background regarding our organization and the involvement of Pam McQueer. Pam is known as one of our Crayons4Kids Volunteer Champions! We have been so fortunate to have had her ongoing support for over a decade. Pam has worked tirelessly to help raise money, plan fundraisers and collect toy donations. As Mrs. Michigan United States 2023 and as Commissioner of the United States Women’s Football League, she has continued to use her visibility to raise awareness regarding our organization and its mission to bring smiles to hospitalized children.
